New Starters 2021
Dear Parents/Carers,
In unusual times we are finding ways to still let you see what Vernon Primary School could offer your child. Under current restrictions we are sadly unable to meet you in person but we extend a warm invitation to you to meet through our website, new prospectus and over the telephone.
We are now starting to schedule telephone appointments where we can ‘meet’ and you can chat to me. If you would like to book a telephone meeting, then please contact the school office via email (admin@vernonprimary.cheshire.sch.uk) or telephone us on 01625 872556. We will then confirm a date and time for your telephone appointment with myself.
This page introduces the life and work of Vernon Primary School. We are a two form entry school and our pupil admission number is 50 (25 children per class).
Our aim at Vernon Primary School is to help prepare your children to value and embrace their future. We believe that the children are our richest resource and we seek to foster a love of learning and of life.
Our school is a vibrant, dynamic learning community, building positive relationships with all children, staff, parents, carers and the wider community. We have an open communication policy which means that you are always welcome to come and talk to us if you have any concerns or issues that you would like to raise. Communication is key to our success and we pride ourselves on our links within our community.
We adopt a child-centred, holistic approach to the planning and delivery of the curriculum, ensuring that all our children receive their entitlement of a rich, ambitious, broad and balanced education. We endeavour to create an open and friendly environment where individual children’s needs are met. This will enable them to flourish in our School and achieve their full potential.
I hope the slideshow below gives you a flavour of life at Vernon Primary School. More detailed information about all areas of the school can be found on the website and our new prospectus is now available on our homepage. This will also soon be available as a hard copy to collect from school.
I look forward to welcoming you and your family.
